Major League Lacrosse and the New Balance Foundation have teamed up to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), the official charity of the 2011 MLL All-Star Game. JDRF is the largest charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes research and the All-Star jerseys were designed with the organization's corporate elements in mind.
After last weekend's All-Star game, players signed their limited edition, game-worn jerseys, which are being auctioned off now at http://stores.ebay.com/Major-League-Lacrosse. The New Balance Foundation will match the funds raised by fans and all proceeds from the auction will go to JDRF in an effort to find a cure for diabetes and its complications. Hurry now to make your bid, the auction ends on Tuesday, July 19th and the jerseys will not be available for sale after that date.
