There were plenty of memorable performances in the 2013 MLL season. As the 2013 calendar year comes to a close, we decided to look back and count down the Top 13 performances of 2013. At #6:
Streibel from long range – thrice
Date: 8/10 vs. Boston
Striebel and the Rattlers had been struggling mightily down the stretch of the season, with Striebel scoring only one point during a 1-3 slide. But in a week 14 matchup against the Cannons, Striebel came out firing, connecting on four goals, three of which were two-pointers, tying an MLL record. His shot seemed to have an extra bit of kick on it, as he was blowing balls past Jordan Burke. He was a huge reason why the Rattlers blew out the Cannons in a 23-14 win.
The rest of 2013: Striebel moved himself higher up the all-time lists, scoring 17 goals, including 8 two-pointers. His 29 points were second best on the Rattlers, while his 8 two-pointers led the league.
